Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's food is a way to get inside her world. The food she serves evokes fascination that grew from moving outside the suburbs of Long Island and into the culturally diverse landscape of Los Angeles. The carnetas and the Cavatelli She believes that they can coexist on the same menu. Her taste is constantly developing. The only thing that remains is her unique idea of the future and still wishing to reminisce about the old. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso founded in 2013, was a huge success since it was in the spirit of her Italian heritage. Lofaso's old-school Italian interpretation is considered to be one among Los Angeles' most captivating dining establishments. Lofaso's food is consistently delicious, welcoming and satisfying. Lofaso worked under culinary greats to master their methods. However, she was not afraid to make extraordinary decisions to honor her gut instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and was able to revamp several high-profile kitchens of Los Angeles while working closely with many high-profile celebrities. Lofaso as well as Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. Lofaso's home was found within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. Lofaso could finally enjoy the freedom of expression she had longed for. Black Market is not constrained to a specific direction and that's the goal. A meal could start with chipped potatoes and peppers with dill, followed by Korean wings and meatballs. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the foundation of these bold flavors. The success of Lofaso has been judged by her ability to be authentic to her own taste while understanding her audience. Her memorable performances of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her distinctiveness in the kitchen and her talents remain in the spotlight of the camera, as an expert judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in regular role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso has released her book, The Busy Mother's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious Recipes in 2012, along with Penguin. The book also tells the story of her challenges when she was a student at the French Culinary Institute. She was raising her daughter Xea, as well. Lofaso believes that the motivation behind all of her accomplishments originates from the kitchen, and it's because of this that she continues to have to keep her finger on the pulse. Chefletics transforms the way chefs dress by combining style and function. Lofaso believes in staying true to you and your vision. To accomplish this, she's launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The brand will provide a tailored experience to clients.
