Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 the 26th of May, 1978. She has acted in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She currently works as an analyst responsible for the Assassination Witness project as well as an integral member of the GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement Team. At GI-TOC, her research is focused on the assassination of people in the context of illegal economies. Her main research areas are the impact of organized crime on human rights and the humanitarian laws and policies. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. Additionally, she holds the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree in magna cum laude Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The experience she has gained as a lawyer encompasses four years of experience with a firm specializing in civil litigation for public entities. She has also held a number of assistant positions with both non-government organizations in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
