Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor for the channel's programs "Squawk On The Street" (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). A native of Ohio native who was not interested in the markets and currencies during her time in college. She worked as an intern at ForexTV.com when she was a student at New York University. It was there that she first had a chance to work working with business news. Later, she earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The position was for the duration of four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. After that, she returned to America and started working in New York at Bloomberg. She later became a TV anchor. In December 2013, she was hired by CNBC as an anchor. Before being hired at 'Closing Bell as a correspondent, she worked as co-anchoring 'Worldwide Exchange' and 'Power Lunch'. Eisen co-anchors 'Squawk On the Street' since 2014. Her main focus since joining CNBC is global consumer news.
